Jim Kilpatrick
Jim Kilpatrick was born in Galesburg, Illinois in January 10, 1947. He spent four years on Wake Island in the Pacific before going to Roosevelt Military Academy during 1961-65. "Those were great days for me at the Academy and I will always hold those days close to my heart." He returned to the Pacific traveling to Guam and Midway Island and Honolulu, Hawaii where he attended the University of Hawaii, graduating with three degrees in journalism, English and education. Jim worked in radio, television, newspapers and magazines before teaching in Hawaii and Texas for 31 years. He has two children and a grandson. He has authored two other novels.
